Default How do you keep your bathroom tiles clean?

We have the tiles from heck. I just cannot keep the grout clean. I even tried harsh cleaners.

Is anyone successful in keeping the mold off your grout? I do have a bathroom fan but it doesn't seem to be helping. And the stupid builder put tile on the ceiling. Like I want to be scrubbing ceiling grout with a toothbrush.

I read about oxygen bleach for cleaning grout. Has anyone tried it?

My guess is that if the mold keeps reappearing, it is inside your grout. Bleaches only kill the mold on the surface but can't get down in. If the mold has grown into the grout, the only solution is to chip the dang stuff out and regrout.

I know mold has penetrated the grout in our ancient bathroom, but with all the other projects we have to do, regrouting is low down on the list right now. So I just keep bleaching away, much as I hate using the stuff.

Tile on the ceiling? That would make me certifiably batty.

Good luck. I hope others have better ideas for you!
