Just did the same thing and had to buy twin bedding for DD. I ended up buying a set on sale from PBK because it had squirrels and cows and frogs on it and she is in love with creatures of all kinds. It was on sale for $34.99. I could have gotten cheaper sheets at Target or IKEA (and probably will as a back-up set) and I would like to get a nice solid set from Land's End when they go on sale, but I knew she'd love this set. I hope it gets here before the bed does!
