    ah, purses..my favorite subject!!

if u don't want to carry a big purse around (just something to carry keys, wallet, cell etc) and u want something hands-free, i would highly recommend a Coach swingpack.

very minimal yet stylish too ..and a BUNCH of colors/styles to choose from. retail is usually around $120 or so but they are always a bunch on sale at the outlets and i've gotten some for $50 before (i've never paid retail for a Coach item, the deals they have at the outlets are just too good). i bought my mom a swingpack for Mother's Day a few years back and she loves it..she uses it as her main purse. i have one and it's very useful. the only reason i don't use mine as much is that i tend to like bigger bags but my swingpack is great for running quick errands or when i want to go to the zoo or an amusement park, fair etc with baby and dont want to be carrying around a big purse.

I just got this one b/c it can be worn so many different ways. Cross body large or small, over shoulder, clutch.

Haven't used it yet, though - I got it in Pyrite b/c I wanted silver and the color seems to be more of a light coppery color. It kind of changes in the lighting, so sometimes silvery, sometimes goldish/copperish. Can't decide if I should keep it, even though I really wanted it. <sigh>

I've used this wristlet for the last 3 years and I swear by it. And at $1.33 you can't go wrong - I paid full price when I bought mine! I've converted all my friends and family.

P.S. - Makes a great WOW gift if you include a little gift card inside, too. My brother did that for Christmas presents for his staff at work. Would also make a nice Mother's Day gift or teachers gifts.

That's a great price! I paid almost full price for one of these a couple of years ago too.

I use a Baggallini I found at our AAA location. It's on the smaller side, neutral color, very lightweight, and easy to clean. The straps are adjustable, which is great to transition between across-the-chest and over-the-shoulder wearing. I love the space provided by the exterior pockets and built-in wallet. I can fit a small wipes container and two diapers inside. I've never been a purse gal and am very hard on the ones I use, so I usually buy them cheap. I think the Baggallini ran about $30-$45.

You might want to check out these from Ju Ju Be, kind of the same idea as the Coach ones, but less money and washable in the washing machine:

Another wristlet user here. It took me forever to find the right one. I wanted my wristlet to essentially function as my wallet, so I wanted one that would hold credit cards. And I wanted it to be large enough to hold my cell phone, a lipstick/Chapstick, and keys. I finally found a larger Coach one that would work. The small ones didn't have enough organization or space for me. I love mine! I toss it into larger bags like my diaper bag or use it by itself if I am going out on my own. Works great.
