Doesn't surprise me. About 9 years ago I saw signs posted on registers at a large electronics store that stated "warning: receipts contain chemicals known by the state of CA to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm". Ever since then I try to handle all receipts as little as possible!

Yeah, Dr. Oz talked about it on The View a few months ago when he was promoting his book about pregnancy. He was saying pregnant women should avoid handling receipts for that reason.
