WE stayed at the Iberostar in 2004 during our honeymoon. Lot of kids and nice kids club. We stayed at the Lindo as they were building the Maya at the time!

This is a palladium addicts thread about how people get their packages for Palladium.

Here's another thread where people have posted their deals:

And finally, here's one where people post discounts:

Don't mean to turn this into a Grand Palladium thread, but, what the heck. What kind of excursions or off-resort activities are available there, stuff like outings, tours, etc.? Geochick gave me a rave review in a thread several months ago about me planning a special family trip if/when DH gets tenure, and I'm pretty set on the Carribean now. Still need to settle on everything else, but availablity of one or two interesting off-resort excursions (organized tours are fine) isvery important.

I booked my package with Orbitz! I am so excited... we are going with grand parents in July. should be fun. But then, I am starting to worry about the heat...
oh well. One more thing, I have a 6, 4 and 1 year old. I figure I should need a stroller. Is it necessary to bring an AT? or an umbrella will be fine? We will do some excursions. Not sure which one yet. But I might be staying in the Hotel with the baby. Thanks!

Read my trip report that I wrote after my first trip:
    http://palladiumaddict.net/PAForum/v...php?f=2&t=9122

Which section did you book? Kantenah, colonial, white sand, or riviera?

I'd definitely take a stroller!!! But - make it a lightweight one in case you get placed on floor three. You can make a room request 1 week before you travel - I'd request ground floor with so many kids.

You would love an AT stroller on the beach, but it would be heavy if you don't get ground floor. Dh and I love to lift our strollers up the stairs for exercise, but you may not like that so much.

Start reading on the Addict Forum. You'll have all sorts of questions answered.

Click my Geochick name up there any time if you need to send me a message at any time.

    Have fun!
