    Default Ergo cleaning

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on cleaning the Ergo. I've taken it on 2 trips & it has a couple stains that won't come out spot washing. Is it ok to machine wash it? Any tips would be great - I want to take good care of it so it lasts a long time!! Thanks!

I just threw ours in the machine to re-use with DD2! Yes, it can be machine washed although they recommend you don't wash it too often. We've probably washed ours 3 or 4 times, on cold and delicate cycle, and then line dried. No effect other than some fading over the long term if you wash it a lot.

Default Washed it many many times

We used the Ergo since birth. When we used it daily we washed it at least once a week. Machine wash and dry each time. No problems though it looks a bit worn. Still going strong at 10 months though it isn't used as much.

It's officially according to the manufacturer just fine to put in the washing machine. I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

I put mine in the wash several times, and it still looks brand new! I let it air dry.
