It's going to vary from one child to another. My nephew (almost 3) is completely obsessed with Toy Story and doesn't know anything about Handy Manny. DS2 (just turned 3) likes both, but prefers Cars or Thomas. And now his current obsession is the Little Einsteins.

My DS is 5 and still loves Handy Manny, but he is very into building/construction.

My DS is 3.5 and though likes Handy Manny, much prefers Toys Story. Every Time. Of course, if Thomas is an option it's like nothing else exists.

both Toy story is coming back because of the 3rd movie coming out in June.

I decided to do a party favor for DD's birthday party at school since I found a great price on food containers. I can't decide which would be better for boys.
The shape of the Handy Manny one seems more practical but I have a feeling the Toy Story one might be more popular (especially since, as pp mentioned, the third one is coming out). Decisions, decisions...
