Default **Looking for a turquoise-ish color paint for DD bedroom...

My daughter has decided that she is over pink. Her new favorite
    color is turquoise.

So, I told her that in her new bedroom here in Ohio, we could paint
    her bedroom a turquoise color.

I have no idea where to begin and I have always received such fabulous
paint colors from the BBB!!! My entire house in Rhode Island was picked
    by BBB moms recommendations/suggestions!

    Please help me!!!

Benjamin Moore - Antiguan Sky - gorgeous. Soft chinchilla (such a strange name, right?) is like a turquoise / robin's egg blue - also gorgeous. Those are my two recommendations

Corie, I am going to try to find the paint color name we used in DD1's bedroom.... it's pretty bright though (in our mostly beige house, LOL!) so you might want to go down one level on the color wheel.

Ok found it - Benjamin Moore 2044 Crystal Clear. Looking at the swatch online it looks lighter than in DD's room. But I still like it!

My son's room is a shade of turquoise and I LOVE it! I tried 3 different colors before I settled on this one. The paint can is in ds's bathroom and he's napping right now but I bought it at Home Depot.
Here are a few pics from when I first did the nursery, I can't find the pics of it completed so excuse the mess!
You can see the difference in color between night and day too!

I think the 2nd pic is the truest color.

We used a color called "Honolulu Blue" by Benjamin Moore in J's room. While more on the turquoise side than I initially wanted, I do like it a lot. The sample does NOT look like what the whole on-the-wall effect winds up looking like.

    We just painted our bedroom....

I wasn't sure if I was right to call it turquoise, but this site does....

"And to keep things on the edge, why not try a turquoise shade - reminiscent of the 1950's. Benjamin Moore's Bahaman Sea Blue is a brilliant turquoise. "

We combined it with a bright yellow trim color for a tropical look. The blue is definitely on the bright side. Fun though!

Mythic Paint 045-2 Schooner Bay- comes out the color of a Tiffany box. It's non-toxic and no VOCs. I have it in my front hall and it has held up to very heavy traffic, shoes thrown at the walls, etc.
