ERGO = breathable

I was the mall today with my friend and our babies. My friend had her baby in a BabyBjorn, and I had my DS in an ERGO. DS decided to take a nap, so I had the sleeping hood up for him. This old lady stops me to ask whether my baby can breathe in the Ergo, and tells me that I should get the BabyBjorn like my friend.

Just had to vent. Has this happened to any of you before?

The nice soft cotton on the Ergo is so much more breathable than the Bjorn. I hate when ignorant people feel the need to comment on things that are none of their business!

Haven't had that exact experience, but I've had more than one person tell me dd isn't warm enough even though she's right next to me and I can tell she is. (old Chinese ladies--this is SF and it is cultural). I've also had people try to tell my hotsling isn't safe because of the infantimo bag sling recall. People are just intrusive for no good reason sometimes.

Maybe she read the recent recalls of the other type of carrier and was trying to be helpful? It is annoying that people butt in
