i'm looking for a good carseat cover to use while my car is parked in the parking lot. basically to prevent ithe seat/straps/buckles from getting superhot and burning my son. ideally, something quick that is easy to put on/take off. i didnt' think i really needed one of these, but now i'm realizing that i really do (i'm in Texas and it's *HOT* here!) i think i saw a reflective one at BRU..will that do the trick? any other recommendations?

White towel, or one of those emergency blankets that reflects heat. You can usually find them in the camping section of Walmart, etc.

thx for the replies. white towel sounds good, tho the emergency blanket thing might keep it cooler (it gets HOT here..my car thermometer said it was 103 today, yuck). i'll check it out.

oh thanks Jools!! that's what i was looking for. i tried searching for it on BRU to see reviews but i could not find it. i had been searching for "carseat cover" and i kept getting actual covers (as in floral prints, etc). durr!
and wow $6.88..so cheap it's worth a shot. my Amazon prime trial runs out tomorrow so this is perfect timing.
