Sorry to hijack but infant fares still exist?

Generally trans-atlantic infant fare is 10% of the adult ticket. That's infant in lap. Child fare (2-12 yrs) with own seat is 70-80% of an adult ticket + taxes etc.

Also be advised that at least on most domestic airlines if you book separately you are on different record locators and so if one group gets bumped it doesn't mean the same thing happens to the other group.
