Traveling to Chicago with 2 yo and 4 yo

ended up not doing the adams playlot I guess we'll put it at the top of the list for the next trip! The kids were exhausted and so we had a quiet morning and then did lunch at Nookies (per the reccomendations here) and then did Lincoln Park zoo in the afternoon. The botanic gardens on Sunday were great. We had a good time there but were done around 3 and then headed home and then out for ice cream (George's) and some park time at the neighborhood park and then ordered in deep dish pizza. The perfect ending to our trip! We made it home a little after 11 pm-left at 8 am Chicago time/9am VA time so just over 14 hours. Not bad for 720 miles! Thanks for all the advice-bro and SIL had never heard of Nookies (loved it!) and had never been to/really heard of the botanic gardens (another huge hit!).

oh yes the train was the biggest hit! We did it twice! One word of advice for Elektra-get tickets online ahead for any museums/aquarium. Soooooooo much easier. We did for MSI but didn't for the Shedd and were in line forever.
