Default Mommy to a miracle, and another on the way

Hi everyone, in a nutshell, tried twice to get pregnant, lost both in the first trimester, was told there was nothing they could do. Went on to see specialist after specialist, was diagnosed with very low progesterone luteal phase defect, tried again, and God, progesterone, and bedrest brought my little miracle. Now we are pregnant again, just over the first trimester, and still relying on God a lot, since you might imagine bedrest is out of the question with an active 19-month-old. So, my prayers to all of you mommies, and mommies-to-be

Congrats on your miracle! I have one too, and know how very exciting each day is with them. Best of luck on your current pregnancy. Hopefully your body is "tuned in" now to how this all works and bed rest won't be a necessity.

Oh, and welcome to the BBB!

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!! I went thru infertility, I do thank GOD for progesterone too! My first Iv-vitro was a failure because my progesterone was too low to sustane a pregnancy .

They doubled it during my 2nd and I insisted my levels be checked the day before and of embryo transfer. Why did they test it 3 days after??? It is rare, but the clinic did change their protocal because of my case and because I was so adamant to the RE about it. I hope it helped save a pregnancy.

Take care of yourself, have faith in God, rest as much as you can. I was on strick bedrest for 11 weeks and can't imagine having an active 19 month old!

Keep up your Faith and positive thoughts!

Wow, you guys are all so great, thank you for all of your prayers and support, they are so welcome. We are slowly counting the days, as I am sure so many of you started the countdown right after finding out And my heart goes out to all of you with those personal stories of ups and downs, yet faith prevails and does bring miracles. Thank you again for being there!!!
