Anyone seen this in their DC? I was changing DS2's diaper this morning and noticed a bruise about the size of a dime right at the waistband of his diaper and in the center there was a hard bump/lump the size of a pencil eraser. I don't recall him falling and injuring that area but DS2 is a pretty rough child that loves to crash into things and occasionally will wipe out unintentionally.
Wondering if this merits a trip to the ped tomorrow or is more like a wait and see? It didn't seem to bother him today.

It's normal. It can occur when the injury is small, but the hit (or whatever) is hard. It's just swelling under the bruise. It will go away in a few days.
