They are leather uppers and fabric/rubber soles. They STINK.

I've washed plenty of leather shoes in the past in a lingerie bag or pillowcase on delicate. They've all turned out fine (and smelled lovely).

I've washed plenty of Stride Rite leather sneakers and have never had a problem (and no special care, either - just tossed them in with the rest of the laundry).

I've washed many with no consequence. Two pair (orange SKR and bright pink SR) bled completely out and were unwearable afterward. The seemed to be more heavily dyed as opposed to others.
