Has anyone had any experience dyeing an article of clothing (not tie-dye.)? I bought a really cute dress, it is 100% cotton, but the color is unbelievably drab. On my fair skin, I look ghostly in it! I was hoping there might be a way to dye it a pretty, vibrant color. Anyone have experience dyeing clothes? Any hints for me? Or am I better off taking it somewhere (where?? a tailor maybe??) to have it dyed.
Oh, here is the dress. It has stripes, and I know the stripes will still show through any dyeng that might be done.
