Good friends of ours just had their 4th boy. They are out of town for the summer. I spoke to my friend to ask what they need- something in the $200 price range (we will be chipping in with another friend). She said she's ot sure at this point what she needs. When she gets home after the summer and has a chance to really go through things and get organized, she will let me know.
I would like to send something cute to her in the meantime, just to show we are thinking of them. Something about $30, but nothing too cheap-seeming.
Their boys are 5.5, 3.5, 15 months, and the newborn.
I'd like it to be something for the baby, as opposed to for the mom. Any cute toys that she probably doesn't have? I was thinking of just sending a cute outfit from GAP (thats where she shops mainly), but I would rather something a little different.

Great ideas! I think a pair of Robeez would be great for her. If I order Robeez along with the GAP outfit, I think she would love that. Sleep sheep or twilight turtle might also work, but honestly I've never seen either in real life. Same with Aiden and Anais blankets- what makes them so special? She probably has a million blankets from her other kids, no?
The baby book is not really her style- she's not the sentimental type. About Sophie, if she's never heard of it before, I'm afraid it will just seems like a cheap gift, ykwim?DD 12/08

Maybe several wooden HABA clutch toys? Or a couple of board books? (So the new baby has some new books that haven't been chewed on by his brothers
