    Default W4 of C25K stinks!

For the past 2.5 weeks, I had not been great about getting to the gym - no more than 2 times per week. So, I just kept doing W3. Today I figured I needed to bump it up to W4 and boy was it hard! Those two five minute intervals, with less recovery time, are brutal! I got through it, though, and I feel great now - but I am not eager to go back and do it again tomorrow! (I know it's best to take a break between days, but my only days I can get to the gym are Tue, Wed, Fri and Sat).

    Anyone else on W4 now?

I know what C25K is, but what is W3 or 4?

    Week 3 and Week 4.

Yeah, Week 4 is a BIG step up!

I nearly thought about quitting in the middle of the last run, but I'm doing the Chubby Jones podcast and she is actually pretty motivational, in a real-world way. And, now that I've done it once I don't have any excuses for next time!

Ohh...I read the title of the thread wrong. I thought it said W4 AND C25K stinks! And, of course, reading the OP again, it's all very clear! I was thinking gym, W4, must be some sort of weight lifting thing.

I only made it to week 2 before my knee started to bother me. I got that all worked out, but then it got so hot out that I lost all motivation. Now that we have joined the gym I'm mostly taking classes. I did get on the treadmill recently and do the week 2 routine. I remember thinking week 4 and beyond was going to be a challenge!

    Way to go, Nikki!!!

I started C25K a loooooong time ago and didn't finish it. Last night I decided that I should give it another try.

Are there any c25k podcasts that you guys like? I tried one, not sure which one right now, and it was okay, but I'd like to find something different.

Cannot believe I am actually answering a MommyFit question...
