    Default Looking for positive sayings

With all that is going on in my house/life right now, I have decided to cover our fridge in positive sayings, quotes, etc. I am hoping this will help us to focus on the positive, be more positive and be thankful for what we do have.

So please share with with me your favorite positive stuff!

Love this idea! Might need to implement this one in our house...

We have some of those magnets with retro looking funny photos on them, and here are the quotes we have:

"Whoever is happy will make others happy too." Anne Frank

"You only live once, but if you work it right once is enough." Joe E. Lewis

And another that someone posted on FB recently that is was really meaningful to me:

"The only true disability is a broken spirit." Aimee Mullins

I will be excited to hear others' suggestions!

I saw this one the other day and really liked it:

Here are two that always make me feel better:

"Tough times don't last, but tough people do."
"It takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow."

Hope things are looking better for you soon!

I found a site that had some good ones.

A friend has this one up on her fridge and I really like it. It may not be relevant to your situation, however.

"It is possible to own too much. A man with one watch knows what time it is; a man with two watches is never quite sure." -Lee Segall

While looking that up I found this site which has lots of good quotes-

Used to have these on my file cabinet at work and now they're on our fridge. They're not necessarily the most uplifting quotes ever, but give me the reality checks I need from time to time:

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart." - Unknown

I love a lot of Emerson's stuff. There are tons of his quotes all over the web, and lots of quotation websites with every topic under the sun.
