Arrow If your DC weighs 30 lbs., do/did you use size 4 or 5 disposable diapers?

I currently have DD (30.6 lbs., I think) in size 4 Pampers Baby Dry, and overall they seem good (though I'm mostly using them just at night & when traveling, and trying to use cloth during the day). She's been in size 4 for quite a while now- maybe 6 months?- and I'd like to order her another big box from the Amazon S&S + Parents magazine coupon. She does have a little less than half a box (I think there were 176) of size 4's left, but I'd like to take advantage of this deal & know that they'll come up as cheaper per diaper if I get another box of size 4. The box says they fit between 22 & 37 lbs., I believe, & size 5 is 27 lbs. & up (I think). Just wondering if it would be better to go up to the size 5's, or if I could eek out more time out of more 4's (and save a bit of money).

Do you remember what you did when your DC weighed 30 lbs.? DD is 21 months, if that helps.

    Thanks in advance!

My DS has been using size 5 Baby Dry dipes for a while and he was 24-25 pounds last time we weighed him. He has chunky legs. I say you size up if you think the 4s are not roomy enough.

31-lb, 27-mo DS has been in namebrand 4s (or generic 5s) forever with no sign of needing to go up
It seems like this whole last year has just been getting taller and thinning out not "bigger".

DS1 is 31 lbs and 37" and in a size 5. Every brand is big around the waist (tabs touch or overlap) but the length is great.

DS is 18 months, 28 pounds, but tall at almost 35 in and he wears a size 5 in all brands. I would buy a box of size 5s if I were you.

My DS is around 30 lbs, 25 months and he seems plenty comfortable in size 4s. I just bought a new box at Costco, so we'll be in them for awhile yet. He's solidly built, but not chubby. I remember going up to 5s earlier with DD, but she was smaller. Go figure.
