    Default Varicose Veins?

Is this a part of pregnancy? I think I might have one on my upper theigh. Never had one before and didn't get them with my first pregnancy. Maybe it isn't one at all, but it looks and feels different. If so, do they go away after birth?

I got some with my second pregnancy that didn't go away. I ended up having 2 laser treatments and then some in my lower leg taken out. Not fun and not cheap. But my SIL had some during her third pregnancy, started wearing compression stockings and they went away. Compression stockings are a huge help, but with this heat I couldn't imagine wearing them. Good luck!

Oh I feel for you! I had the worst varicose veins with both pregnancies, much worse and more painful with my second pregnancy. Compression stockings didn't help me. The good news? They went away completely both times! All the best!

compression stockings for the 3rd pg only made my legs feel way better And...a year later... my legs look okay too, well, for being 40.
