Yes, it worked. I've never had to do it on other forums. The only other one I visit on a regular basis marks my posts differently.

This was bugging me too! Same boat!
So I just went to the User CP link and then clicked "Edit Options" under "Settings and Options."
Then, the second block of text is "Messaging & Notification." In that block, I see "Default Thread Subscription Mode."
Mine did say "Do not Subscribe."
I just clicked "No Email notification," which I *think* means I will be subscribed but won't get an email every time someone replies.

Ok, it still isn't working for me! I did the exact same thing this morning (I just saw your tips here)....but I'm still not getting subscribed threads.

N/M: I think I failed to press the "save" button. Hopefully that will fix it.

No, I just had no way of knowing when anyone posted on my threads. Without looking them up (I did a search on my own name).
