    Default What will I forget to pack?

    If you were pretty scatterbrained, had a very active 3 1/2 year old son, your house was in complete and total disarray due to construction that has gone way over schedule so that you have no real "home base" for things like toiletries and such and you were being induced tomorrow, what would you possibly be forgetting to pack for the hospital?

    I am thinking now
    of grief, and of getting past it;
    I feel my boots
    trying to leave the ground,
    I feel my heart
    pumping hard. I want
    to think again of dangerous and noble things.
    I want to be light and frolicsome.
    I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,
    as though I had wings.

Have had great improvement or total elimination of: migraines, bloating/distention, heartburn, cystic acne, canker sores, bleeding gums, eczema on elbows, dry skin and scalp, muscle cramps, PMS, hair loss, heart palpitations, fatigue. Camera is the only thing I would be devastated not to have. What else do you truly need? Nothing, imo. They have gowns and if you don't like them go au naturale. After the baby is on the outside, dh can go home and pick up any postpartum stuff you want and may have forgotten.

    Re. snacks from pp- heck, the snacks for *mom* too! I ate during both labors b/c I was hungry.

    For me, I was glad to have bikini tops and undies (change of undies) to wear in the water during my labors. Dark bathrobe was nice too.

    I'll be thinking of you!
