Default ISO new CAMCORDER and COFFEE maker ASAP

Suddenly we have lots of failed appliances/electronics that need to be replaced NOW.

Please recommend your (or any great):

    1) camcorder

    2) auto-drip coffee maker (we drink espresso but our guests drink coffee and our maker needs to be replaced by this weekend!)

I have a few others but these two are urgent. Thanks for your suggestions!

We got the capresso coffee maker with drip-stop and carafe years ago.

We've been drinking from a stove-top espresso maker, and loved the coffee, but got sick of making a new pot for every single cup. Brought the capresso back out and it worked perfectly. Also love the filter feature on it; our municipal water is awful.

camcorder I have nothing for you. We have one with a harddrive and it makes HUGE files. It takes forever to download to our Mac etc. We find ourselves grabbing out little point and shoot digital camera (canon) or DH's ipod to take videos.

For coffee maker we like our cuisinart grind and brew. Nice to have everything contained in one place. put the beans in and push the button... done!

Hoping to find a camcorder in the next 2 weeks...but we need a coffee maker for this weekend! We don't need a grinder - have one - and we use filtered water, though the filter feture is nice (and our "now defunct" one had it).

    Any further thoughts?

    Thanks, Ladies!

Yeah, we use filtered water, too. But the double filter really turns out some good coffee - or that's what I tell myself!!

I bought DH a Capresso for Father's Day (the MT500, on sale at Tuesday morning for ~99 bucks) and we LOVE it. DH said that it turned him into a coffee snob in just a week. Not sure if that's a good thing to you, but to me it says he liked his gift :-)
