Default How long do babies stay in size 2 diapers?

My 3 month old baby is about 13 lbs, soon to be transitioning from sz 1 to sz 2 swaddlers. I have a box of 150 sz 2 swaddlers, and trying to figure out if I should get one or two more boxes of sz 2s before the amazon.com sale ends. How long do they stay in size 2s, typically? Will I need 300 or 450 of these dipes? Thanks for any help!

Depends on how fast your children grow - for me, it would be worth it. My kids stayed parked in size 2's fo ra LONG time. I'm guessing you'd use them.

i would think at least another case. dd was 7lbs 3 oz at birth and was 50/50 for weight and height until about 9 months and she was in size the shortest duration and that was 3 cases of swaddlelrs size 2. she has since turned into a string bean and has been wearing size 3 for the last 8 months.

you can always return them to amazon she is has a major growth spurt.

Yeah, it really depends on how big they are and how they grow. Here's our diaper timeline:

    NB birth-10 wks
    1 10 wks-5 mos
    2 5 mos-7 mos (so 2 mos in these)
    3 7 mos-present (he's now 10 mos)

The 3s still fit him easily. I've heard from others that they are in 3s for a long time (the range is huge 16-28lbs!).

Btw, he was 6lb 13oz at birth, 16lbs at 6 mos, 20 lbs at 9 mos.

My 7.5 lb (at birth) babies were in size 1's for the first 8 weeks or so, size 2's from about month 2 to month 6, and size 3 from 6 months until they were potty trained (around age 2.5).

So maybe I should get one more box of 2s, and one of 3s. Only problem is, I don't know what we'll get after Swaddlers Sensitive (which goes till 2) - maybe 7th Gen?

We were in size two for about a week! Alot less time than we were in Newborn. But he has been in Size 3 now since March.
