Yay, I'd really like to see a review on them too. I'd so much prefer to buy off Etsy then a B&M store. Not to mention the tempting price tag!
I ordered 2 more Sweaty Bands for my daughter and she loves them!!!
I really need to pick out some patterns for myself now.

They are the same price @ the store, basically you don't pay shipping.

Do both the thin and the thick work just as well? Has anyone ordered the mystery ones?

Well, I saw them IRL at the store. They are definitely cute but I left empty-handed....I just couldn't handle the price. I think I will order from Etsy or try to make them myself. May go to Michael's or AC Moore tomorrow to see what I see.
Holy CRAP! How do they justify $18 for a tiny pc of fabric???
I have thick wavy hair so I don't need to go there. Any hair band sticks in my hair like glue.
I cannot BELIEVE the prices. I am half tempted to find or MAKE MY OWN knockoff, because to me they are just taking complete advantage of people with straight or fine hair.
I hate it when someone has a good idea and thinks that is a reason to charge 10x what it is worth or should sell for. I bet we'll see knock-offs in the under five dollar range within months.
They probably cost 25 cents to make.

I ordered 2 from etsy, one striped, thick one and one black thin one. She didn't offer to do any custom, eventhough I sent her some ideas. The price was right and the shipping was refreshingly low. I hope they keep my wispies away.

I have to imagine she is overwhelmed with orders right now

Just wanted to update on my Cambands off Etsy. I ordered one slim and one wide. I have to say, I was disappointed when I opened the package. The black one had a pretty significant amount of white velvet (from the other side) sticking out. I have black hair, so this would really show up. Also, the end wasn't folded over evenly, so the corner is sticking out, IYKWIM. Upon further inspection, the stiching was off the black grograin in one section and there was a gap where the velvet was not stitched with the grograin, creating a gap.
On the wide one, there was some stitching that seemed "sloppy" (i.e., 2 lines of stitching on top of each other, one way crooked and "off" at an angle).
I convo'd the owner and she's sending me a new black band. She did make the point that these are handmade and not mass produced, so they won't be perfect. I understand that, but I still think they should be "neat" looking and not sloppy looking, KWIM? Hopefully, the new black one she sends will be better. Not sure why she doesn't just use black velvet on the black bands.
