they are very cute... but ouch! i'm not sure i could stomach paying that much for a headband for myself, let alone for a little kid except for a special occasion or something... but that's just me .

I figure that I've spent way more than that trying to find a headband that
doesn't slip out!!! This will actually save me money!

I just bought a larger one and smaller one to try. Coupon AVP got me 20% off. Also, you can get a "mystery" one to try for $7.

ETA: The $7 doesn't include shipping or the discount.

You may want to see if you can find them locally. I bought mine at a local Fleet Feet. I prefer the thin band myself.

I did a retailer search on their website and there is a store in my town
    that carries them. Thanks Melissa!

I did look at the website! Just making sure I got things right. I'm going to see if I can find a local place to check them out.

These work great! I picked up one a couple weeks ago at a local Fleet Feet.

I would love if these worked in my hair. I hate wearing pony tails all the time.

An hour away? Would that bring you any closer to me?

I'm going to try and get one today for DD. There is a store here in town
    that sells them.
(This store also has the Waxing Poetic jewelry mentioned in another thread.)
