I tried one of the cambands on DD (2 yo) and it was waaay to big. Just browsing the bicbands site, she says she can customize for a smaller (or larger) head.
ETA: And some of her bands from the FB page look like they're clearly made for children.

Just placed my order with bicbands. Got the green Fleur I linked to above, this one

and a skinny plain black one. I got the 3 for $20 deal, which is really great. From the pics, it looks like her quality is high. I like that she uses different colors of velvet for the different colored bands. I figure I can wear the first 2 with pink, brown or green tops.Sally

OK, I am so going to have to try the BICBands! I was a little apprehensive about the Sweaty Bands because of the price. I don't have problems with headbands slipping for the most part. I have thick, curly hair so it holds it in place. However, I wear a headband almost every day and I need some pretty ones. I usually wear just black ones.
Thanks for the recommendation...now I just need to figure out if I need to get her to make them bigger for me. Anyone else have a big head? I can't find hats to fit me...maybe I should have her do some custom ones?DD - 2005

KHF I have a somewhat big head too with masses of thick wavy to curly hair. These are pretty comfy on me. You might want to get an extra 1/2"
