Do you have someone experienced (like a pp doula) coming in to help you after you get home? Hope so.
DS1 and I had an awful birth experience, and I know from experience how nice an emergency c with a certain lack of pain meds can feel. I was still shaken from the experience a year later, and in retrospect should have talked to a therapist about it.-Ivy

I too was shaking as I read this.
sste and Clara, I am so glad you are both OK. What a tough journey into this world! I hope she has a smooth ride through her first months of life and beyond.
