Default What strollers have you owned?

This list is embarrassing. At least SQ is here & will best me.

For my oldest daughter I used: Perego carriage & Silver Cross something or other (circa 1981, belonging to my mom), crappy Evenflo travel system, 2 Inglesina Zippies- 2004 & 2005.5, Inglesina Espresso, some Inglesina carriage system that I never used & sold on ebay. Mac Quest 2005

2nd daughter: 2006 MBUS, 2007 Bugaboo Cam, Mac Quest (see above), Mac Techno XT 2008

3rd kid/1st son: Mac Techno 2008, Bumbleride Indie 2008, Peg Switch 2009, Peg Si 2009, BJCMD 2008, MBUD 2007, UB Vista (silver) 2009, UB Vista (2010), MB Duo 2010, Bug Bee 2009, MB Swift 2010.

4th baby- Mutsy something or other (clearly I need more sleep if I can't remember the model name- already sold to some nice couple from somewhere yuppieish) uhhhhh, what should I buy now? I'm hopeless. Even worse than Arivecchi.

(and of course, I'm probably forgetting something).

Swissair, I don't think I am even nipping at your heels! You are in a whole other league! Jacksmoma may qualify for this super user league too!

My stroller history (in order of acquisition):

Valco Trimode - my first stroller love - awwwwww!
Maclaren Triumph - still going strong but prettyfied with a new liner
Peg Perego Aria - at my mom's collecting dust
Instep Safari Double - sold after a week
Baby Jogger City Classic Double - great double!
Mountain Buggy Swift - THE perfect single stroller
First Years Indigo - cute and cheap reversible!
Mutsy Transporter - checked it out but it was too big
Mutsy Slider - nice AT reversible
Mountain Buggy Duo - the stylish workhorse
Maclaren Albert Thurston - the gentleman
Mountain Buggy Terrain - joining our family soon

    I am outclassed.

With ds I had a 2004 Bob SU and a 2004 Silver Cross Mini.

With dd, I have a MB Swift, still have the SC Mini and just bought the Cybex Onyx.

If dd continues to be tall and rides for as long as her big brother did, I think we will end up with one more AT to replace the Swift. I'll probably just sell the Swift and buy a used Bob off CL to use if that happens. Otherwise I think I'm done buying strollers.

Wow, I won't post my measly collection of a few strollers for my one baby girl as it is nowhere near those listed.

When I grow up and my family gets bigger though, I want to be like you guys!

Incidentally, of all the strollers I bought and sold, the one keeper is aforementioned crappy travel system. It is still in my mom's basement. She uses it to transport stuff.

Wow, these are pretty impressive lists. Mine is lacking, but I have the feeling I'll catch up soon. I've definitely caught the stroller bug and with DC2 on the way, and all the great strollers available, I want to pick up 1 or 2 more.

So far I have in order of acquisition:

    1. Graco Snap-and-Go – used too much the first 3 months w/DS

    2. Combi umbrella – I hate this stroller, it has a wonky wheel and lives at grandma’s

    3. 2007 Bugaboo Cameleon – (I would have never bought this myself, when my son was about 3 months old my neighbor asked if I needed a stroller. It was barely used and has been a great stroller for us (especially for free), but is definitely not great for in and out of the car.

    4. MB Duo – Got this from a neighborhood garage sale over the summer for a deal, washed the fabric and it looks great.

Still really longing for a great lightweight stroller for running errands and occasionally think about trading in the Bug for a single MB.

No comparison to you Guys but here it goes:
with one DD age 18 months now:

*Easywalker Sky (6 months) - too heavy, big, seat too reclined, canopy too small, pushed best of all I had though
*Peg Perego Pliko P3 (2 months) - plasticky but great canopy, comfy seat and best freedom harness, wanted to try something else
*Britax Verve (few days) - wwit (what was I thinking??)
*Buggster S (1 month) - had seller's remorse, but decided I needed air tires after all
*Bugaboo Cameleon (6 months) - great for parent facing, really wanted to love it but just couldn't
*Bumbleride Indie (6 months and still going strong!) - perfect for neighborhood walks, just wish it felt more solid but it's been great.
*Mac Triumph (a week) - great but DD still needs footrest, so sold and got..
*Mac Quest (1 month and counting) - great for car, mall, doctor's, can be tippy but I don't mind as I don't carry a diaper bag...

Edit" DH keeps a stroller in hic suv, but it's a fixed-wheel jogger by -I thin, gosh, Baby Trend?- does it count?

There are a few more I'd love to 'test out' - BJCM (in purple ) and Micralite Superlite (maybe as the very last stroller?)
