thrown some audio tapes DH had gotten from a second hand store? He has the thought that he is going to record them onto the computer... as well as the VHS into DVD's and scan a bunch of slides...
He has a clutter issue in case you haven't gathered....

yes, I would have tossed them, and my DH would have been upset about it (he has a clutter problem too).

I would not because I have the same kind of stuff laying around and I would be upset if he threw my stuff out.

We have a bankers box of VHS tapes that DH says he'll put on DVD. Five years in this house, and the box is still in the garage. He won't ever do it. I don't toss his stuff, but I do move it out of the way. If we didn't have a place to put it, or it was a lot of things, then it would be different. For him, it's sentimental and he won't get rid of them, but they don't have enough value for him to do something about them.
