Default Can we talk lipgloss? UPDATE in post #29

I really want to start putting myself together when I leave the house. I figured lipgloss is a good way to start. Can you recommend your favorite lipgloss?

Since it is the only makeup I wear I splurge. I like Vincent Longo, Chanel and Nars.

I agree, it's one of those places that I spend a little more $$. Mascara and powder I get from Target/CVS....but lipgloss I get from MAC. It's not sticky and they have awesome colors!

Mid-end, MAC and Clinique make good ones.

Drugstore: Revlon makes the best glosses, although Maybelline aren't bad.

I LOVE Buxom lipgloss. I love the colors, staying power, and--best of all--the way it makes my lips feel tingly and full! I buy mine at Ulta or Sephora. I think it usually runs about $15 or so.

MAC Lipglass in Revealing, I think it is stick but in a good quality way. $16

I like Sephora's brand Lipstick, the Sheer Type, I use G15 & G20. One is dark and one is light but you can put them on quickly for sheer & shine w/o lipliner or fuss. $12

I also like Neutrogena Lipgloss. Some other drugstore ones have funny tastes!
Which reminds me...who can wear L'Oreal? It has such a funny taste and smell to me.

I really have never worn any makeup before until I met my friend who sells Mary Kay. I have 2 MK lip glosses (Gold Rush & Sweet Raisin) and 1 lip liner (Neutral) that can go with both. I have tried the MK liquid lip color too and may finally decide to get 1. They tend to last longer than other lipsticks I ever tried as they seem to stain your lips but not like MF Lipfinity which I used for my wedding which I had to scrub off.

I like Mary Kay too. It doesn't have a weird scent/flavor and the colors are lovely. I have Coral Rose and Starry lip gloss. Both go nicely over MK Sweet Nectar lipstick.
