Maxi Pad as diaper doubler???

I use the large ones, since that's what I have on hand (for use with my Flip covers). I have to fold them a bit lengthwise to fit, though. The old Flip disposable inserts were a perfect fit, but they're wider now. Supposedly not as wide as the gDiaper inserts, so I'm thinking of trying them.

if you use the gdiaper insert, do you actually get the size small? guessing you might b/c you want it to fit without being too bulky? and it's just adding extra absorbency, right?

or do you size up for the appropriate weight?

i just used whatever size she was in the g-diaper at that time. call it laziness, but i didnt want to buy another size.

since we have run out and really stopped using g-diapers. we actually just size up for nights.
