Default Uses for old Cookie tins

What do you all use old Cookie tins or Popcorn tins for? I've got 2 and my mind is running wild.

    Please share !

Sewing boxes, line with a piece of cardboard covered in a pretty fabric for a nice big, shallow one. (ETA- use chipboard, not cardboard)

Bug cages - bend a piece of light plexiglass to make a cylinder to fit inside the top and bottom, tape the seam and insert bug of choice with some sticks, bedding, etc. (my girls are really into stick bugs and praying mantis pets right now). This is for the sm to med shallow ones.

No brilliant ideas on the big popcorn ones....toy storage for all the playmobil stuff? Actually, I may get one for this, and spray paint the outside a nice color - DD has allergies, so the pretty basket thing doesn't work in our house - too much dust. Thanks for the nudge, we've been needing something more attractive than the plastic lidded stuff we have....and I bet I can find some to fit well on our toy shelves.

Cookie tins are great for crayon storage.
