Default Gift idea for 2 YO Girl?

I need a gift for my friend's almost 2 year old. I'd like to spend about $10-15. Any ideas?

So many toys are 3 and up, I don't want to get them something they feel they can't use now.

    TIA!

Wood puzzles and play food are good - but more likely that she already has these - but you can always have multiples of these

Toddler music CD - like Lori Berkner. Little People (they usually have a whole display of these in the infant clothing department at Walmart) or just Toddler Tunes

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with the Green Toys Chef Set and a set of the fabric Veggies from IKEA. They look cute together.

I actually ordered a second Chef Set for DN today on Amazon since I also got her the fruits and veggies at IKEA.
