I'm having trouble posting pics here..what am i doing wrong?

I've been trying to post pics here, and it's not working.

I typed my message - under "post new thread" and clicked on the "manage attachements" box at the bottom.

When I get to the next screen, it says Upload from your computer, so I select my JPEG, and it says Upload failed.

I see the second box says Upload from URL, but I don't have my pics stored anywhere online, they are in a folder on my computer.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? THe size was 5.65 mb...I see the max size of a jpeg is 19.5 KB... I'm kind of clueless here.. does this mean my pic is too big?

Your file is too large. You'll need to resize it or host it on another site and link to it - see the pinned topic at the top of this forum for instructions.

That would have worked if you had clicked on the button and pasted the link in there. That's what I did in this reply.

This is the link you're currently trying to post. It's not a valid link, so it's not going to work no matter how you do it:

This is the link you posted about 5 minutes ago. It is a valid link to an image, so it will work. To embed it, you just need to click the mountain button and then paste the link in the popup box.
