Huuuuge hit with 7 month old DD - her Oball rattle. Thanks to (I think) ms-pacman for the reccommendation!

She also loved the Jellycat Peekaboo soft book - one of the most amazing soft books I've found.

She likes her Jacques the Peacock but I think she liked the paper it came in more.

I loved her Hanna mocs and zipper.

Miss - Manhattan Toys Put and Peek birdhouse. But her 4 yr old sister loves it and has already co-opted it!

    Hits so far:
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with figurines. Big hit.
Pink Radio Flyer trikes with push bars. They love these, despite the fact they've only been riding between the living room and their bedroom (snow).
Aquadoodle...ok, possibly a bigger hit with me, because it is really frickin' cool! And I got the super Amazon deal, what was it $9.99?
Disney first look and find book, a hidden object book for toddlers I bought on a whim on Black Friday. Major hit!

Misses: hard to tell, since they got a lot. Although they completely ignored the pretend trunk of princess outfits from DSIL. (a silent yay!)
Mommy to my wonderful, HEALTHY twin girls
    6/08 - Preemies no more!

    Hits for 19 MO DS:

    • Little People Farm
    • Big yellow dump truck (consignment find)
    • new slippers, mittens and hat
    • Duplos - horse farm from my mom, and a Tigger/Pooh set from a consignment sale
    • M&D Shopping Cart (I need to get some padding around the bottom egde of that thing though - it's going to tear our house apart!)
    • M&D magnet animals
    • horse on a stick
    • anything DD was opening
    Misses:

    • books. I'm hoping he'll get more interested in them later, after the excitement dies down. He's been so into books for practially his whole life to date.
    • Mickey personalized blanket. I thought it was going to be the favorite -he loves mickey, he loves blankets and scarves.
ETA: Another miss was the talking, moving elephant (Furreal or something like that - you pet his back and he trumpets). He's not too loud, but DS is afraid of him. I feel bad because MIL asked about getting the Furreal monkey for him and I steered her toward the elephant instead. He's not usually afraid of 'stuff', I didn't see that one coming at all. He DOES like DD's furreal gogo pup, although he still doesn't want it walking toward him :-)
