Just an fyi - Rachael Ray's mag often goes down to $3/yr. as does Taste of Home; you may just need to wait around a bit as I'm not sure how the deals are timed. I do know that there was a deal around Christmas for $3 (up to 4 years) and also in early November (I got that one).

They seem to roll around fairly often, maybe every two months or so. Food Network mag has been popping up at $5/yr. If you don't need to renew now, it might pay off to wait a bit. You can always check SD for mag deals - they're posted pretty quickly when offered.
