What to use after PNP for travel?

For those using the PeaPod Plus:
- How old was your DC when you started using it?
- How did you get them to feel comfortable in it.

So far Bean hasn't used it. When I ask if he wants to go in he says "No". I haven't pushed it, but I'd like to get him warmed up before our next trip.

The peapod is interesting... I may need to keep my eyes open for a deal on that for baby #4 for travelling.
