    Default Rear Facing Check-In

DS2 just turned 2 and he is still rear facing!

He still seems like such a little guy to me that I cannot imagine having him FFing.

Thank you BBB car seat squad!

DS turned 3 a week ago and still happily RF in his Blvd! He weighed around 33.5 lb at his last check up (fully clothed) so we may get a couple more months of RF yet.

I also want to mention, as I've done several times before, that we were in a car accident in March and DS was unharmed because he was RF (DH and I sustained neck and back injuries). Thanks car seat gurus!

DS is a couple months over 3 and still RF. He was 27 lbs fully clothed when I weighed him last month, so it will be a while before he rides FF.

DS2 is 2.5 years and 30lbs. He's rear-facing in my car, but will be forward in DH's car because I don't have an option to RF him and put the other 2 in. He hasn't been in there in months though, so who knows when that'll actually happen.

I actually just turned DD forward facing! She made it to 3 years and 9 months.
She is 32 pounds and some of her seats have 33 pound limits, and she will do just fine FF IMO.
ALSO DS is now 31 pounds! And I figured that he is going to need that high weight limit that our Radian XTSL provides more than DD did. So he is now in our Radian, and DD took her BV back in my car and is FF there.

(Actually, DD is still RF in the nanny's car in her True Fit that goes to 35 pounds. She doesn't seem to mind going FF in some seats and RF in that one.)

I feel like I should hide. DS has weighed 35 lbs since 18 months. He is a big boy! I hate that I had to turn him.
