DS1 (3+) turned this month. He's like 20 lbs, but way tall and lanky. I didn't have to, but just decided it was annoying to hear "I see a firetruck" from a RF kid, then have the FF kid reply, "YOU"RE LYING! There definitely is NOT a firetruck near us!" And so on. Having them seeing the same things has definitely helped us keep the peace in van...until DS2 is verbal and will start arguing with the bigs.

DD is 21 months, 34", 25 lbs (clothed) and RF in a Blvd. My DH has been starting to ask when we can turn because "she seems uncomfortable" but I have no plans to do so any time soon.

DD is almost 3 1/2 and 28 lb and RF in True Fit Premiere and Britax Advocate.

At this rate, we'll turn her around when it's time for her to start driving.

Don't worry!!! I'm a huge advocate for extended rear-facing (just ask anyone I've talked to about it LOL) but both my boys were at the highest weight before 2. There isn't anything you can do to make them smaller. Just think - he was rear facing 6 months longer than a lot of kids!!

DS isn't at the highest weight yet, he only just turned 1, but you certainly shouldnt feel bad. I know everyone here, myself included, advocates for ERF, but its not a contest, once your kid hits the weight max for the seat, its safer to turn him around than to have him using a seat RF that he is past the weight on. No need to hide under a bag!

24 months, 25 lbs, RF in a BLVD. I'm very proud of DH & I, yet disappointed that she is the only DC out of all of my friend's kids that is still RF. I get comments all the time, the most common is people trying to rationalize why they aren't still doing it because "his legs were hitting the back of the seat." I just comment how DD curls her legs up and doesn't seem to mind it at all.

Thanks to the BBB, I know I'm doing the right thing for her.
