Default Ideas to spice up bedroom bumping

I really hope this doesn't offend but can anyone suggest any toys or anything else to spice things up? We have no problem reaching "O" and we are pretty versed on positions but I was thinking of adding toys. We tried handcuffs a very long time ago and got bored with that.

Have you read The Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex by Barbara Keesling? (Available on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Good-Girls-Gui...5966429&sr=1-1)

She has a section on how to introduce "toys" into couples play without being intimidating.

Also, if you're into cooking, the cookbook Intercourses is a fun way to play with so-called aphrodisiac ingredients. For Valentine's Day a few years ago, I did a meal that played with a lot of the ideas from that cookbook. (Unfortunately, it was SUCH a good meal, DH was in a "food coma" by the end and he went straight to bed!) [Amazon link here: http://www.amazon.com/New-InterCours...966617&sr=1-1]

That sounds like what my DH would do. Thanks for the ideas and I am definately getting the cooking one to suprise him for Valentines Day.

If nothing else, the photography in Intercourses is amazing! Very sensual without being tacky or skeevy.

Try some new positions. I like this site and their position of the week: http://christiannymphos.org/category...n-of-the-week/

Get a red lightbulb and put it in the lamp in your bedroom.

Have you tried sexting? Sending suggestive text messages to each other throughout the day really turns up the heat when you finally get in bed at night.

Massage. I have a book called Erotic Massage and it's great.

Ok my book recommendation. This is the one we used in the college class I student taught. This is the newest version.

Thank you all for the ideas. I want to surprise DH on Valentines Day and you have given me some great ideas. I'm going to check out Babeland next.

Roll playing? Watching a spicey movie?

I find that the best way to spice things out is the make out, like you did when you were teenagers. As an adult, there is like a goal to intimacy, to get to the O. But as teenagers, it was more about being in the moment because sex wasn't necessarily on the table. My DH and I agreed to go two nights with just making out and by the third night...well I don't want to be crass, but it spiced things up.

I bought this book for DH a few years back-
    http://www.amazon.com/101-Nights-Grr...5982871&sr=8-1

It has these envelopes that you open (Men and women have different ones) and each one has some specific task for an evening of great sex.

Some of them were a bit odd- (Using a paintbrush to paint your "juices" on him... ick) and some were REALLY fun- (Using oranges and licking juice off of his body. Really fun and REALLY messy.)

It's perfect to spice things up.
