Default Toy Storage - Land of Nod

Why oh why have I fallen in love with this stinking toy-storage unit?

    http://www.landofnod.com/family.aspx?c=10597&f=4073

Has anyone seen something similar but not so expensive?

Does anyone have this and want to tell me its terrible, go buy something else? ; )

Yeah, I love those Storagepalooza ones too! But I didn't want to spend the money, so I got these just a few weeks ago: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Badger-Bas...i_sku=15571815
It only comes in expresso (which is OOS), and red or blue. http://www.walmart.com/search/search...h_constraint=0
The quality seems good, not as nice as of the LON ones though, I'm sure.
Company Kids also has something similar: http://www.thecompanystore.com/Stack...e-organization

If you're handy, check out the plans at ana-white.com. I think she has plans for building that piece...

I just picture that lovely wood with a million nicks and dings, kids toys are hard and no wood can stand that much abuse...is that what you were hoping to hear....it's very nice but I don't see as practical.

I too fell in love with the storagepalooza (2-bin bases) many years ago. I found some build it yourself ones at The Company Store and they are great. The durability is fine for the toy room. If I had never seen the LON ones I would have adored the TCS ones right off the bat. Now I don't really think about the difference and am glad I save the money. And now it looks like you have to build the storagepalooza yourself too!
