Default Baby Bjorn Potty Chair owners...

Is an almost 3-yr too big for the bigger Bjorn potty (w/the pull out insert)? DD is on the smaller end since we're both Asian (and my family is petite). She's probably less than 30 lbs & is almost 3, but I'm getting scared after reading some reviews that this chair may be too small for her. Any input? TIA

    do you mean this one?

If so, my 3.5 YO DS sits on it just fine. He is between 38-40 inches and 35 lbs.

My 40 lb 44" son can sit on it (it is tight) but he likes it.

We have this one too (from the pic above). DD is almost 3, almost 30 lbs, and about 36 inches tall. She uses it without any problem, and I think she will be able to use it another 6-12 mos.

I think she'll be just fine. My DD was also just under 30 pounds at 3 (so also smaller) and she was fine with it.

Have you considered using the insert and a stepstool? We found those to be easier than the potty chair. We have both, but my DC prefer the insert that goes straight on the potty. Fine by me!

Yes, that's the right one. Sorry, I forgot to include a link! I'm glad I bought now (on Amazon) & asked later as the price dropped to $20.79 (blue) for all of 20 minutes before it went back up to $23.49! Thank you all for the feedback. I didn't really want to do the insert for the big toilet as I just thought DD might be more comfy on a smaller seat, being a peanut & all I will probably get an insert later when she is a little bigger/taller & is a pro.

She should be fine. I switched to the BB insert as soon as DS would do it. So much easier.

DD loved the chair until we bought the insert and a stepstool. Now she LOVES to sit on the "big" potty. We use the chair to take when we travel or will be out and about for awhile as DD is more comfortable using her potty chair vs strange bathrooms.
