Pillsbury Crescent Rolls! Before baking, spread some on the wide end of the triangle, roll them up and bake. To answer another of your questions, this is a treat in our house, not part of a meal - so yummy!

I send it instead of PBJ. Whole grain bread, healthy PB, and way less Nutella than the kids ever want of jelly. I figure it has to have less sugar since it is a trace amount at that point.

Nutella alone on multigrain bread (cut into shapes for DD2)
Nutella with Skippy peanut butter on multigrain bread (for me)
Nutella with fluff on whole white wheat bread (for DD1 occasionally)
    Nutella with Pretzels (for me)
Nutella on a spoon (DD2 and myself)
Nutella hot chocolate (DD1 wants it but I usually end up finishing it. very decadent)

So yeah, I'm going to go with part of a regular diet around here and not even pretend it is a treat.

I noticed that we ran out of maple syrup today..but not before I already made the pancake batter. So we used Nutella instead.

I agree - it's delicious right off the spoon! DD2 is the only one who eats it regularly in our house. She's the pickiest eater in the world. For her, I spread it on graham crackers or toasted english muffins.

Otherwise I will spread it on whole wheat toast.
