We have newly installed granite counters in the kitchen, the company says not to clean with vinegar. How do I disinfect them after raw chicken, ect. comes in contact with the counter?
Thanks

It's a big mindset change - but hot water and a microfiber cloth, rubbed vigorously should be enough. Throw the cloth in the washer when done.
For some reason, I don't completely believe this (although rationally I know it's right)...so I work hard to minimize the raw chicken there and try to keep it in the sink. BTW- same works for grease, hard as it is to believe...
I use a water, tea tree oil and rubbing alcohol mix. I can't recall the exact measurements right now (they're written down in the notebook thats in my car right now). I know tea tree oil is known to disinfect, but I also have my doubts as to whether such a diluted amount does anything.
