DS is 2 and usually eats a combo of the below:
    fruit, usually berries
string cheese or a slice of cheese
    veggie sausage
    scrambled eggs with green onions

He's never been a big oatmeal or cereal fan. He was enjoying the Fage yogurt for a while, but now does not want it at all.

We do a hot sit down breakfast most mornings (usually 6 days a week) as part of our routine to make sure T goes to bed on time and wakes up on time. We usually do pancakes or eggs or toasted bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Sometimes we have bacon or sausage, but not always (a few times a month). Fruit and yogurt are common extras. Some mornings we do a slice of baked oatmeal with 1 egg on the side and some fresh fruit or a no added sugar smoothie with flaxseed. Once a week or so we do cold cereal, it used to be everyday but the hot breakfast is certainly a motivator for T to wake the heck up and I eat breakfast more often if it is hot so it is a win-win. As a consequence of all this, and my husband's love of cereal, it is not uncommon for them to eat cold cereal for lunch 3 days a week when J is home at lunchtime instead of a sandwich.

My DS is not a morning person at all so I try to let him sleep as long as possible in the morning. Because of this he usually eats breakfast in the car. Most days he eats either a bagel w/ milk or a cereal bar w/ milk.

This has been DD's menu the last couple of weeks:
Trader Joe's fruit strip or Fruit cereal bar
    cheese stick
    milk, or water

sometimes she'll eat some dry cheerios, or a yogurt. She also likes it when I make pancakes or waffles on the weekend and make extra so she can eat them during the week.

DD is 17 months. Breakfast varies, but usually includes 2 of the following:

    - oatmeal with cinnamon/raisins
    - plain yogurt
    - fresh fruit
    - pancakes (yogurt, blueberry, plain)
    - french toast sticks
    - cottage cheese with fresh fruit
    - muffin (blueberry oatmeal, banana oatmeal, carrot)
    - baked oatmeal
    - grits
    - whole wheat toast/English muffin

DD doesn't care for eggs or breakfast meats.

I got several recipes from the boards!

DS eats cold cereal with soy milk every day. Either multigrain flakes, raisin bran, puffins, shredded oats. Those are his favorites. Sometimes a waffle with butter.

DD eats whole grain eggos most days, though she'll eat cold cereal too (see above types). I don't love all the ingredients in eggos, but if we have them, she'll eat 2 for breakfast with syrup. If we're out, then it's cereal.

On the weekends we do letter pancakes or french toast. Or eggs. But the kids are more used to eating eggs as dinner these days! Sometimes oatmeal too. Anything that I have to cook happens on the weekends!

I trained DH to do breakfast while I'm soaking in the tub.

    He serves:
oatmeal (not the 1 min. kind)
weekend-made waffles or pancakes from the freezer
    bacon
    sausage
    cereal
    bananas
    cantaloupe
    yogurt w/granola
TJ's french toast or homemade FT (that I prep)
    bagel with cream cheese
    cinnamon toast
    cheesy eggs
    hard boiled egg whites

It's great he does this while he's emptying the dishwasher. Unfortunately, there aren't always leftovers and sometimes either DS1 or DS2 touches nothing. They take turns.

My step-sister had the COPCO cafe. Every week she served the same thing. I think this was it... Every week for like 15 years...
    Cheesy Eggs
    Oatmeal
    Pancakes or poptarts, lol
    Cream of Wheat
    Omelette

I usually get them by the case at Costco or off of Amazon. Sometimes the deals on Amazon get freaky good for zBars. I am not recalling a per bar price but I think better than TJs. But if you want less than a case, TJs is the best price for sure.

That's where I buy ours since I haven't found them cheaper. Someone else may know better than I do though.

I rotate these things around, and choose based on how much time we have before we have to get out the door:

fried egg and cheese sandwich on an everything Bagel Thin

frozen waffles with either butter, peanut butter, cream cheese or Nutella

    pancakes with bacon or sausage

    oatmeal

    peanut butter and banana sandwich

yogurt parfait (vanilla yogurt w/ granola and fresh fruit)

    cold cereal

    blueberry or bran muffins

banana bread spread with cream cheese
