Default Taking DD ice skating for first time today

I'm a bit nervous about it, but she has watched "Disney on Ice" clips on the computer so she has at least seen ice skating. Her balance is pretty good, but she really has one speed for everything (high) so I am hoping she won't get frustrated too quickly.

I'll update after we get back.

ETA- We had a great time. DD did much better on the ice than I even anticipated and I think she is willing to go again.

Since one just does not simply walk into Mordor, I say we form a conga line and dance our way in.
Excuse me, are you in a play?

That's wonderful. It sounds like you had a lot of fun. Skating is great sensory work!

I took DS ice skating once. We fell a lot and couldn't go as fast as DS wanted. But it was fun. He likes roller skating better.
