    Default Another hanger ?--skirts

Do you all put something in between your skirts and the pinchers on the hangers. I have several delicate silk skirts and I'm wondering if/what I should put under the pinchers. They do tissue paper at the drycleaners. Should I just get some flannel/jersey fabric and cut some rectangles. Is there an easier solution?

Are you using the ones that slide and clip closed? Those seem to make dents, but the ones that are a straight pincer clasp don't. I have a skirt hanger that has layers of clips that are covered in something soft and squishy that don't make dents. Also the clips on the Huggable hangers aren't too tight.

the straight pincer clasp. Mine are cheap and don't have much padding inside the pincer.

You could attach (glue?) some folded felt (not in a dark color that might transfer) or flannel to help. I just usually try to pinch at the waistband on the side seams where there is the most fabric.

I have the same kind of hangers and I've been fine with tissue paper myself.

Of course, it's been a while since I had a skirt that delicate...
