Default What was the brand of that dollar store pregnancy test again?

Hi all...I remember way back when there was talk of a really reliable pregnancy test that could be purchased at a local Dollar Tree or other dollar store. Some BBSer said it was basically a generic brand made by a company who made a popular brand name one, but the search didn't pull anything up. TIA if anyone could help me out!

I don't remember the name on the box but I've only ever seen one kind at any dollar stores I've been in. I used them and they were fine (and accurate) and much cheaper than other stores.

The brand on the box is New Choice. They are one of the most sensitive tests you can buy. According to comparisons on the link below they've been found to detect as little as 7 mIU/ml of HCG

I don't know what you are referring to, but I did buy these last year and both the ovulation adn the pregnancy tests were really well.

They're really cheap if you want to buy in bulk and I'd recommend them.

Obviously if you just need 1 prego test, this might not be for you.

I love Dollar Tree ovulation and pregnancy kits. I used both for both of my pregnancies and they are wonderful.

Thanks, mamas! I knew someone here would know what I was referring to I've been on the pill, well...the mini-pill for 3 years now since DD2 was born, but I've been experiencing frequent urination & sensitive gums (both of which I NEVER experienced before - even both times I was pregnant).

Yikes! I hope I never have a need for 72 pregnancy tests! But now that I think about it, I could see how someone actively trying to get pregnant might need a ton of tests, esp. since at that price you can only get about 7 of the Brand name ones.

Thanks for this site! I never bookmarked it, but I remember looking at this a couple of years ago when I thought I was pregnant (and was) w/DD2!

I think I peed on a stick 3 times daily when trying for DD. That 72 pack might have come in handy!

I've only bought the tests at one Dollar Tree, but they were displayed on the wall behind the cash register area and I needed to ask a salesperson to get them.
